Emotional self-care is about checking in with yourself, becoming more mindful of your thinking patterns, and finding ways to be the best version of yourself. Taking time out of your day to focus on YOU should be apart of your schedule.


3 Simple Ways to LEVEL UP your Emotional Health:


Get to laughing! Have you ever met someone who is having a deep belly laugh, but is also unhappy? NOPE. Laughing triggers dopamine production in the brain, which creates a sense of euphoria and floods the body with feel-good chemicals! Not only that BUT these feel-good chemicals actually reduce pain! So the more you laugh, the more feel-good chemicals you’ll have floating through your body, giving you a headstart to a BETTER mood.


Be grateful. This is one of the strongest and most transformative habits to pick up! Being grateful shifts your perspective from lack to abundance. Focusing on the good in your life pulls more goodness into your reality. Gratitude can be incorporated easily into daily life with keeping a gratitude journal, practicing 3-5 minutes of gratitude meditations, saying “thank you” often (and being sincere about it!), and lingering a little longer on thoughts of positive moments from the day.


Understand the reason behind the season. Seasons come and go, but they all come to teach, elevate, motivate, encourage, and lead you to BETTER. Relinquishing the urge to compare our lives and think our lives need to be at a different point will set up to appreciate what you have, where you are, and where you’re going! You are exactly where you are supposed to be in life. We don’t always see the reason in the season, but trust in the process and watch what you GROW through.
